Our local community
There are lots of ways in which Church without Walls is involved in the local community.
In fact, in many ways the distinction of church stuff/community stuff is not one that really fits with our ethos.
To be authentically ‘church’, a Christian community in this place, is to be involved in the community, part of making it a better place for everyone to live in.
So there are many community initiatives that Ruth, our Community Minister, is involved in, many community ventures where people from Church without Walls are taking a lead.
Some run under a ‘Church without Walls’ banner, others don’t!
We hope to be like yeast in the community, being the extra ingredient that helps things happen, working with our neighbours to make this community and our world a better place to live in.
Other activities we are involved in
Warm Welcome:
Every Friday at Broughton Pavilion from 9am to 12 noon.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy a safe and warm space with good company to chat with friends old and new with FREE tea, coffee and biscuits available.
Bringing children? We have you covered with a special corner for any pre-school child you bring along with you.
If talking isn’t your cup of tea you can always look through our local newspapers or unwind with some good old fashioned colouring in or crosswords.
No matter what you choose all are welcome here.
Organised by Church Without Walls in partnership with Broughton & Milton Keynes Village Parish Council
